Shubh Films began in a one-room studio in Pune with an obsession that hasn't changed: weddings should be remembered the way they felt, not the way they were posed. We started by shooting for friends, then for their families, and eventually for couples across the country who wanted the same honesty.
Today we accept a limited number of weddings each year. Every film is edited by the person who shot it, every album sequenced by hand, and every frame graded in a warm, filmic palette that will still look right twenty years from now.
We believe restraint is the highest form of luxury. No shouted directions, no recreated rituals, no crowded frames. Just a small crew that reads the room, moves softly, and trusts that the best moment is already happening.
Lead filmmaker and founder. Trained in documentary cinematography, Shubham shoots every wedding the studio takes on and edits each film personally.
"I've stopped trying to make weddings look cinematic. I try to make them look true — and the truth, at an Indian wedding, is already cinema."
